Roam SoCal is designed to be easy, flexible, and welcoming. Here are a few things people often want to know.

Does it cost anything to join Roam SoCal?

It is currently free to join the Roam SoCal email list and community. Individual experiences may have a cost depending on the activity, venue, ticket, food, materials, or transportation involved. Any price will always be shared before you reserve a spot.

Is there any membership or ongoing commitment?

No. There is no required membership, attendance commitment, or minimum number of events. Join the experiences that sound fun to you and skip the ones that do not.

Do I have to be over 40?

Roam SoCal is designed with adults in their 40s and beyond in mind, but all adults who enjoy the community and activities are welcome.

Can I attend by myself?

Absolutely. Roam SoCal is being created specifically to make it easier to show up without already knowing someone. Come alone, bring a friend, or invite a group.

What kinds of activities will you offer?

Plans may include thrift trips, games, trivia, live music, comedy, sip and paint, creative workshops, wellness experiences, tours, tastings, local events, and partner-hosted activities.

Where will Roam experiences take place?

Most experiences will take place throughout Los Angeles and nearby Southern California communities. The exact location will be included with every event announcement.

How will I hear about upcoming experiences?

Join the Roam List with your email address. We will send updates when new experiences, partner events, and opportunities to reserve a spot become available.

Will Roam SoCal offer discounts or special access?

Whenever possible, we will work with local partners to offer preferred pricing, reserved space, complimentary extras, private access, or experiences created especially for the Roam community.
